The site
We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Every page, including check results and the list builder, is tested automatically with axe-core on each change. The site works with a keyboard and screen readers: landmarks and headings, labels on every field, real tables with headers, visible focus, status messages announced, enough color contrast in light and dark modes, no information carried by color alone, and motion reduced when your system asks.
The PDFs
Lists and reports are made as tagged PDFs: real text in an embedded font, tags for headings, paragraphs, lists and tables (with header cells), a logical reading order, the document title shown in the title bar and the language set to English. Page decoration and page numbers are marked as artifacts. Every PDF also has an HTML print view.
Known limits: the PDFs haven’t yet been certified against PDF/UA with a validator such as veraPDF or PAC. If you add pages to a PDF, check the final file before posting it.
